Prayer Ministry

We strongly believe in spiritual, emotional and physical healing. There are many different prayer teams at Hope that you can be a part of. Contact prayer@hopenc.org for details.

Sunday Morning Prayer Team -This team of trained and committed people is ready to serve the congregation every Sunday morning and operates under specific guidelines for consistency and accountability.  So learn how you can be a part, email nhbprayer@gmail.com.

Intercessory Prayer Team – This team currently meets on the 1st Thursday evening of each month to discern and pray for Hope Chapel, including Hope Chapel leadership, specific church wide events/outreach and missions, unity among the body, etc. Led by Monica Nichols.

Inner Healing Prayer & Deliverance Team – Trained in the PRMI Dunamis model of inner healing prayer, we offer private appointments to individuals who have deeper needs/concerns than can be adequately addressed on a Sunday morning after service. Contact Nancy at nhbprayer@gmail.com.

Inside/Out Team – This team meets most Tuesday afternoons at 1pm at Hope Chapel to pray for people “inside” the building, and also to go “out” into the community to pray according to the direction of the Holy Spirit. Anyone is welcome to join on any Tuesday. Led by Pastors Bryan Finley and Katie Head. This is a great team to start (and grow) with – it’s a low-pressure, week-by-week commitment with wonderful folks who love taking Jesus wherever there’s a need and demonstrating His love and power.

Internet Prayer Team – This team prays on their own for requests received through emails from leader Bryan Yaffey.
