Our pursuit of God is for the purpose of being equipped and empowered to present Jesus to a world who needs Him desperately. There are ways to do that personally, through our sphere of everyday influence; locally, through our Hope Helping Hunger Ministry as well as our Food Bank Outreach; and internationally, through short-term mission trips.

Hope Helping Hunger

We have partnered with Laurel Park Elementary over the past 4 years to provide nutritious, non-perishable meals for students to take home every weekend, we have seen this outreach grow from serving 10 kids weekly to now serving 17 kids weekly. We have recently changed our partnership with Laurel Park to transition from weekend food bags to classroom snack bins. The classroom snack bins provide snacks for children that do not have a snack from home to nourish their mind and body throughout the day. This ministry is supported by the generous monetary and food donations received from our congregation. To learn more about supporting Hope Helping Hunger, email hunger@hopenc.org.

We have partnered with Point Church to help with their local Food Bank. Every 5th Saturday of the month, we take a team from Hope Chapel to one of the Point Church Food Bank locations and we help serve a hot meal and pack grocery bags for families in need. This is a great opportunity for Connection Groups to serve in the community. Questions? Email hunger@hopenc.org.
